Indian veteran actor, Amitabh Bachchan has just informed the public that he has tested positive for the Coronavirus! He said he was shifted to a hospital and requested everyone who has been near him to go and test themselves. A report by Indian express reveals he’s been admitted at Mumbai’s Nanavati on Saturday!
Amitabh Bachchan Got Infected With COVID-19!
Amitabh Bachchan is one of the finest actors in the world. He’s been so iconic in Bollywood for decades and has participated in many social activities. While he, along with few Bollywood actors has made a video earlier in April this year regarding Coronavirus, he informs his fans over Twitter that he’s just infected with the same!
He said, “T 3590 -I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff underwent tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !“
This was unprecedented and shocked everyone. Soon after him posting the tweet of being infected, many popular celebrities have commented to the tweet for his recovery. The list includes names like Bhuvan Bam (YouTuber), Mammootty (Malayalam actor), Sarath Kumar (Tamil actor), Sundeep Kishan (Telugu actor) and cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, Suresh Raina and many politicians too!
Media house The Indian Express has said the actor was admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital on Saturday evening. Further, a hospital spokesperson confirmed the news to the publication. The actor’s last movie was Gulabo Sitabo, which is now an Amazon Prime exclusive.
