IPL 2022: KKR vs GT Probable Playing 11 and Dream 11 Predictions

Halfway into the tournament and we see the current table-toppers Gujarat Titans facing the 7th positioned team Kolkata Knight Riders today afternoon.

Scheduled at 3.30 PM IST at DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai, this match is crucial for KKR as they had lost their last three fixtures. And it’s mostly because of their ineffective bowling, where even the experienced players are backfiring.

Pat Cummins, Varun Chakravarthy, and Shivam Mavi have been so expensive this tournament, leaving Sunil Narine and Umesh Yadav as the only two bowlers KKR is relying on. Although, Umesh Yadav is leaking runs in the end.

In terms of batting too, KKR is unable to get the start it wanted. Venkatesh Iyer isn’t helping as needed, while Nitish Rana and Sheldon Jackson are yet to offer their services.

Gujarat Titans on the other hand have been winning matches in a number of ways. They have very few parts to complain about, as their both batting and bowling units are aiding at the right times to take the team home with wins. Although, they should work on their opening pair, especially the wicket-keeping batsman.

KKR vs GT Dream 11 Predictions for IPL 2022

Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Venkatesh Iyer, Shubham Gill, Shreyas Iyer, Hardik Pandya, Sunil Narine, Shivam Mavi, Umesh Yadav, Rashid Khan, Alzarri Joseph, and Mohammed Shami.

Setting Hardisk Pandya or Sunil Narine as captain and Venkatesh Iyer or Rashid Khan as VC is recommended. You may also try Shubham Gill or Shreyas Iyer too.

Though we have more potential players like David Miller and Pat Cummins, it’s hard to fit them in considering the limited points given by Dream 11 for playing XI.
