IPL 2022: GT vs PBKS Probable Playing 11 and Dream 11 Predictions

Tonight at Brabourne stadium, Mumbai, we see Gujarat Titans facing Punjab Kings in the 16h match of IPL 2022.

Both Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans have two wins in their bags and are the result of promising batting and bowling units of the respective teams. Though Punjab tasted a defeat already, Gujarat is yet to face one.

GT is now the only team in this season that stood unbeaten so far, playing only two matches and winning them both. It had successfully defended a total of 180 earlier this week, and seems to be comfortable in any mode – batting first or second.

GT vs PBKS Probable Playing 11 for IPL 2022

  • Gujarat Titans
Matthew Wade, Shubman Gill, Vijay Shankar, Hardik Pandya, David Miller, Rahul Tewatia, Abhinav Manohar/Gurkeerat Singh Mann, Rashid Khan, Lockie Ferguson, Varun Aaron, Mohammed Shami.

Gujarat players are in the form of their life, except Vijay Kumar and Varun Aaron – two seniors GT is relying on in their respective units. Yet, it’s able to pull off any hard match with the likes of rest.

  • Punjab Kings
Mayank Agarwal, Shikhar Dhawan, Bhanuka Rajapaksa/Jonny Bairstow, Liam Livingstone, Jitesh Sharma, Shahrukh Khan, Odean Smith, Kagiso Rabada, Rahul Chahar, Vaibhav Arora, Arshdeep Singh.

Punjab bought Johnny Bairstow for 6.5cr, and letting him warm the benches isn’t feasible. But considering the current form of Bhanuka Rajapaksa, they can’t do much. And even if they try stuffing Bairstow in, they should pull out Odean Smith, which makes the middle order and bowling unit vulnerable. Thus, they may or may not Bairstow today.

GT vs PBKS Dream 11 Predictions for IPL 2022

Matthew Wade, Shubman Gill, Shikhar Dhawan, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Liam Livingstone, Hardik Pandya, Rashid Khan, Lockie Ferguson, Mohammed Shami, Kagiso Rabada, and Rahul Chahar.

Setting Shubman Gill or Shikhar Dhawan and captain and Hardik Pandya or Rashid Khan or Rahul Chahar as VC is recommended.

The match is about to start in a few hours, so make your teams wisely.
