The highly anticipated face-off between the two most successful Indian Premier League (IPL) teams, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI), is underway, with fans eagerly following the action. Chennai Super Kings won the toss and elected to bowl first. They made some changes to their playing XI, bringing in Tristan Stubbs for Tilak Varma, who is out due to illness, and giving Raghav Goyal his debut in place of Kumar Kartikeya. Their substitutes include Kumar Kartikeya, Ramandeep Singh, Dewald Brevis, Raghav Goyal, and Vishnu Vinod.

The match started with Cameron Green and Ishan Kishan opening the innings for Mumbai Indians, while Deepak Chahar was given the new ball by CSK. At the time of reporting, Mumbai Indians were 33-3 after 5.5 overs, with Suryakumar Yadav scoring 12 runs off 8 balls. Tushar Deshpande had bowled 2.5 overs and taken one wicket for 15 runs.
