The Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Lakers are all set to face each other and will be against each other at the Staples Center. After the win over Suns, the Timberwolves are all set to take over with their third win. In Los Angeles, the number of matches won was two over three. Currently, Minnesota stands at 1.5 favorites among the audience.

The match between Phoenix and Timberwolves were a strict one due to the absence of Derrick Rose. They were lying behind with 2 scores and the points standing at 114-116. However, they did manage to win over with the 118-91 score on Tuesday.

The Minnesota Timberwolves Performance

The Minnesota Timberwolves have a tough competition with their game on January 6th against Lakers with a win of 108-86. Andrew Wiggins delivered a breathtaking performance by scoring 28 points.

Although Timberwolves have given one of the best performances, there is no guarantee if they will be able to score against Lakers or not. If Timberwolves manage to get over the Lakers, they will be able to score a great deal and give an instant boost to their performance.

Absence of Players will be harmful to Lakers

LeBron James is suffering from his groin which eventually makes him unable to appear for the game. And thus, it is for the 15th time that he will be missing the game. But, the audience is expecting that Rajon Rondo might return in this game. He had missed his previous matches for about a month due to his finger injury

Rondo’s return might be a benefit for the Lakers Club since Lonzo Ball may be absent due to his ankle injury against Houston. The absence of James, as well as Rondo, may prove to be harmful to the Lakers.

It cannot be denied that Lakers have given some great performances against Oklahoma City with 138-128 and Houston with 138-134.
