Atlanta Hawks reached in Los Angeles for the showdown with homies, the Clippers will be seen playing against Atlanta Hawks at Staples Centre, Los Angeles, CA. People can watch it live at 10:30 PM ET.

Preview of Los Angeles Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers responded to a five-game losing streak by winning four of their last five and look to continue moving forward when they host the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night. On Sunday at home against the Sacramento Kings, the Clippers had 35 assists on 42 made field goals in a 122-108 victory. The effort pushed the Clippers over the 23-assists-per-game mark, their highest since they had 24.8 in the 2014-15 season, when they finished 56-26.

Clippers head coach Doc Rivers said about his team’s ball distribution “Whenever we do it, it’s good and it was good all night” on last Sunday.

“That’s what we have to be, and we believe that. We said it before the year started,” Rivers said. “Sometimes we lose our way but for the most part, we keep doing it. So many guys on our team have the ability to make a shot, and it makes us hard to guard.”

Preview of Atlanta Hawks

The Hawks are 19th in the league in scoring offense with 109.9 points per game this season. Atlanta couldn’t win over Chicago as they exceed on the road by Portland Saturday night. The Hawks entered Sunday 12th in the Eastern Conference, eight games behind the Hornets for the final playoff spot.

The Hawks gave up a 13-0 run over the next five minutes to go down 14 and that sealed their fate. Trae Young steer Hawks with 30 points and eight results in the loss. Atlanta is 14-12 ATS on the road this season while the over is 13-13 in those games.

Injuries

Circumstances are quiet for the Hawks and that is obviously a positive thing. Kevin Huerter returned to action on Saturday and, for this game, he is off the injury report entirely. Kent Bazemore with right ankle sprain and Miles Plumlee having left knee pain remain out of the lineup but, otherwise, Lloyd Pierce will have his full complement of players available in this exigent match.

The Clippers have been playing without Danilo Gallinari over the last five games, as he is affected with low back spasms. Although, the team has been successful with four wins in the last five games and, aside from Gallinari, Los Angeles has a clean injury report on their side.

Predictions

The Atlanta Hawks needs a win after losing six of their last nine games. On the other hand, The Los Angeles Clippers look for another victory after winning four of their last five games. The Los Angeles Clippers are back to being as healthy as they’ve been in a while, and they’re making more score by average of 6.2 points during their last five games. The Atlanta Hawks are losing by an average of 9.1 points on the road this season. The Clippers have found their magic again with the return of Lou Williams and others. I’ll side with the Clippers in a comfortable home victory.
