Amber Heard stated in court on Monday that the couple’s Yorkshire Terrier was the one who actually defecated in the bed that she and Johnny Depp had shared during their marriage. Heard has denied allegations that she had defecated in the bed.
After a fight on the night of her 30th birthday in April 2016, the actress from “Aquaman,” who is now 36 years old, testified that Johnny Depp, who is 58 years old, accused her friend of leaving excrement from a human being on his side of the bed at their apartment in Los Angeles.
According to Heard, who testified in front of the jury, the defendant “had eaten Johnny’s weed when she was a puppy and had bowel control issues for the entirety of her life—among some other issues.”
“In an effort to determine what was wrong with this dog, we were forced to take her to the veterinarian on a regular basis. I’ve been around dogs my whole life, but I’ve never seen one like this.”
Heard testified that Boo “liked to burrow in the bed” and would sleep with the couple. He also stated that Boo would sleep with them. She also mentioned that they had to “leave her in bed so she wouldn’t be encouraged to go to the bathroom,” which is something that would happen almost immediately when she put her down on the floor, and it also occurred occasionally in bed. She said that they had to do this in order to prevent the issue.
But now, in this week’s court proceedings, which resumed after a weeklong hiatus, Heard made the claim that the poo was from one of the actor’s dogs named Boo, who had “eaten Johnny’s weed when she was a puppy.” The hiatus in the proceedings had occurred the previous week.
Depp testified earlier in the trial, which is now in its fifth week, that he planned to stop by the apartment to retrieve some belongings when someone at the home sent him a photo of what he described as “human faecal matter” on his side of the bed. The trial is currently in its fifth week.
