Just when everyone thought Xiaomi’s disrupting Indian market, there’s another Chinese contender introduced by Oppo, that’s making raging in the smartphone market.
Realme was launched in India last year, and highly successful in attracting customers. Its above-average specs at competitive prices is what made everyone to look at it. Today, it’s coming with a flagship killer: Realme X2 Pro.
Further, witnessing the successful performance of Realme 5 series, it’s even launching Realme 5s, a slightly tweaked device in 5-Series.

Expected Announcements
The brand new X2 Pro was launched in China month and is making Indian debut now. You can expect the following specs.
It sports a 6.5″ (1080×2400) AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and HDR10+. It claims to be producing 1000nits of peak brightness, which is highest for any smartphone. Protected by Gorilla Glass 5, it runs on Android 9 Pie with Color OS 6.1 bloatware. The system will be processed by Snapdragon’s 855 SoC and Adreno’s 640 GPU. It comes in 6GB/8GB/12GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB of ROM.
The imaging department consists of quad rear setup of 64MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, a 13MP (f/2.5) telephoto lens, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide angular and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. Upfront, there’s a 16MP (f/2.0) sensor embedded into notch. With Dolby Atmos and in-display fingerprint sensor, it has all the required connectivities and is powered by a 4000mAh battery with 50W VOOC charging support.
On the other side, Realme 5s would be sporting a 6.5″ and a Snapdragon 665 CPU with Adreno’s 610 GPU. Further, it will have a quad rear setup of 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP with each having their own functions. There will be a 13MP camera upfront. At last, it’ll have a massive 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support. It’s all about stripping down the 5 Pro variant to some extent and keeping just display little more.
Pricing and Availability
With White, Blue, Grey and Red colours, it’s expected pricing could be between Rs.25,000 to Rs.32,000 in India. As the 6GB/64GB is priced at ¥2,599 in China, it’s expected to be around Rs.26,000 in India. Further, the 8gb/128GB to be around Rs.28,000 (¥2,799) and the 12GB/256GB variant could be of Rs.32,000 (¥3,199)
On the other hand, Realme 5s (available in Blue, Purple and Red colours) will be coming in 3GB/32GB and a 4GB/64GB or 128GB variants with price starting from Rs.9,000 to all the way up to Rs.15,000.
