Premier League heavyweights Liverpool and Manchester City will lock horns to acquire the signature of 17-year-old Inter Milan starlet, Sebastiano Esposito. The academy starlet has already made his debut for the Nerazzuri, coming on as a late substitute for Borja Valero in the Europa League.
However, Esposito has already stated that he is happy at the San Siro working under Antonio Conte.
“I live for football and I have already achieved a lot of my dreams,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport. “(Antonio) Conte is impressive, he’s an extraordinary coach.”
“Inter is a school for me, but also a family. You grow as a player, but also as a human being.“If I have arrived here, it’s because I took it to step by step along the way. The Azzurri shirt is one, the badge is another and the pride is unique.”
However, the EPL duo aren’t the only contenders for his signature. Paris Saint Germain and Borussia Dortmund are also said to be keeping tabs on the youngster. The fact that he is valued highly is underlined by Mino Raiola and Francesco Totti, who are trying to represent him.
Esposito also stressed the importance of hard work and his desire to play for the national team as he said,
“Someone who doesn’t give 100 percent every day, won’t be in the national team. I would like to be a leader for every team I play in.”
