Amber Heard testified that Johnny Depp “stood her up” on the red carpet of the Met Gala, which led to her meeting her ex-boyfriend Elon Musk.
Heard testified in court that on May 2, 2016, she and Depp were invited to attend the Met Gala by designer Ralph Lauren, but Depp did not show up for his fitting. Heard stated that Ralph Lauren extended the invitation to the Met Gala.
Heard has stated that she attended the gala on her own because Depp did not appear at the event.
Amber discussed her experience of going to the Met Gala by herself in 2016 while she was on the witness stand. Johnny was supposed to accompany her to the event, but she claimed that he “effectively stood her up.”
Christian Carino, who formerly worked as an agent for Johnny Depp, testified in court about emails that Amber Heard sent to him after she ended her relationship with Elon Musk.
At the same time, Christian Carino, the representative for the former spouses, testified in the past that Heard was seeing Mr. Musk around the same time that she was attempting to reconcile with her husband. On Monday, after the trial had been adjourned for one week for a break, Heard offered his testimony for the third and final time.
Heard reported that they started hanging out as friends after the incident. Shortly after that, she started a relationship with the founder of Tesla, but they ended it in August of the following year.
