Philadelphia 76ers Edge New York Knicks In Christmas Battle

Joel Embiid vs Kristaps Porzingis would be the primary star matchup in Monday’s Afternoon Christmas Day Game at Madison Square Garden between the Philadelphia 76ers and the New York Knicks. The 76ers defeated the Knicks 105-98. Philadelphia snapped a five-game losing streak.

Embiid was amazing all game long. He scored 25 points grabbed 16 rebounds and blocked three shots. J.J. Reddick scored 24 points and grabbed six rebounds. He also had two steals. Ben Simmons scored eight points and grabbed eight rebounds. T.J. McConnell scored 15 points off the bench.

Porzingis scored 22 points grabbed seven rebounds and blocked five shots. Enes Kanter had a monster game for the Knicks down low with 31 points and 22 rebounds. Courtney Lee scored 20 points. Michael Beasley scored 10 points and grabbed five rebounds off the bench for New York.

These two teams will play each other two more times this season.
