Lebron James’s Triple-Double Helps Cavs Beat Pesky Lakers

Lebron James once again showed his magic touch in his 15th NBA season with another triple-double (25 points 12 rebounds and 12 assists) in Cleveland’s 121-112 win over Los Angeles. Lebron continues to dictate the pace of the game for himself and his teammates.

Kevin Love scored 28 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Cavs. Jose Calderon scored 17 points and five of his baskets were from downtown. He also had six assists. Dwyane Wade and Kyle Korver each scored 10 points off the bench.

Brandon Ingram scored 26 points for the Lakers and he also grabbed six rebounds and recorded six assists. Lonzo Ball scored 13 points grabbed eight rebounds and recorded 11 assists. Josh Hart scored 11 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He started in place of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope because of personal matters.

Kyle Kuzma scored 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds off the bench for the Lakers. The Lakers biggest lead was nine and the Cavaliers biggest lead was 11. This was also the first time Lonzo Ball and Lebron James squared off against one another. Lebron had some advice for him after the game but he wouldn’t share it with the media. These two teams will play each other one more time this season.
