The Cleveland Browns haven’t had many bright spots in 2017, but with the NFL deciding to reinstate Josh Gordon on a conditional basis, it is rather a good thing for the Browns. Gordon has not played a down since 2014. He had 303 yards receiving on 24 receptions.
In his career, Gordon has 161 catches for 2,754 yards receiving and 14 touchdowns. He was emerging into one of the best receivers in the NFL before his suspension. The good thing is Gordon is only 26 years old and if he can stay away from trouble, Gordon can still have a productive five-to-seven more years in the NFL.
Gordon will return to game action for the Browns in week 13 against the Los Angeles Chargers on the road. He will be allowed to start practicing with the team on Monday November 20. Maybe DeShone Kizer’s rookie season can be revived for the final five weeks of the season. The most important thing is Gordon is back in the NFL and hopefully he doesn’t have anymore off the field issues.
