Tonight’s going to be the first match of Super Four in Aisa Cup 2022, between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan, scheduled in Sharjah stadium at 7.30PM.
Afghanistan has walked into the Super Four stage in a comfortable way, winning two out of two matches they payed in the league stage – against Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Both their batsmen and bowlers have been exceptionally good in their respective departments, performing rightly when needed.
As such, they shouldn’t be worrying much about tonight’s fixture against Sri Lanka. They had already read the Lankan squad, and leveraged the inexperienced bowlers for a good score. And with quality spinners in their team, Afghanistan may report another win tonight.
Although, Sri Lanka hasn’t been that bad either. Kusal Mendis and Dasun Shanaka aiding with the bat gave them hope of standing in business in the last game, and they may want to continue that form. And with quality spinners like Hasaranga and Theekshana, they may be competent enough to fight against Afghanistan tonight. Hoping for a great match here’s what tonight’s squads would look like;
