With Gujarat, Delhi, Punjab and Kolkata all having their maiden wins registered in this IPL, it’s now the turn for Hyderabad or Rajasthan to mark one of theirs.
Walking into the 4th day of IPL 2022, we see Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals locking horns tonight in Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune. Both the teams have significantly refreshed their teams in the mega auction, and are all set to mark their grand presence now. So here we go;
SRH vs RR Probable Playing 11
Sunrisers Hyderabad
Rahul Tripathi, Aiden Markram, Kane Williamson (c), Nicholas Pooran (wk), Abdul Samad, Abhishek Sharma, Washington Sundar, Marco Jansen, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umran Malik, T Natarajan.
Rajasthan Royals
Jos Buttler, Devdutt Padikkal, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson (c), Shimron Hetmyer, Rassie van der Dussen, Navdeep Saini, Ravichandran Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, Prasidh Krishna, Trent Boult.
Although, it’s thoughtful for SRH to go with Kartik Tyagi and have Romario Shephard to strengthen their middle order pack. After all, SRH bought Romario for a whopping 8+ crores, making him the biggest auction pick after Nicholas Pooran for SRH.
And for Rajasthan, they may try Daryl Mitchell and Riyan Parag instead of van der Dussen and Navdeep Saini, to have a better lower order. After all, they have a stronger opening pair and top order that can withstand the whole 20 overs, considering the inexperienced SRH spin attack.
SRH vs RR Dream 11 Prediction
With the player availability and previous track records, it’s recommended to set the Dream 11 team accordingly;
Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson, Aiden Markram, Kane Williamson, Nicholas Pooran, Washington Sundar, Shimron Hetmyer, Yuzvendra Chahal, Trent Boult, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ravichandran Ashwin.
Setting Jos Buttler as Captain and Washington Sundar or Sanju Samson as Vice Captain is recommended. With the pitch favouring spin and bounce, it’s good to have experienced bowlers in the team. Also, the batsmen picked up were proven to play against any type of bowling condition.
