Aaron Rodgers Leads Magical Comeback for Green Bay

There is a reason why Aaron Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. Green Bay was down by 14 points at halftime and he put the team on his back. He completed 28-of-42 passes for 313 yards passing 3 touchdowns and an interception. Rodgers completed a 72-yard pass to Geronimo Allison in overtime to set up the 24-yard field goal by Mason Crosby and he made it to lift Green Bay to a 27-24 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Allison finished with 6 catches for 122 yards receiving and he filled in for Randall Cobb because he was out with an chest injury. In the first quarter for the Bengals, A.J. Green caught a 10-yard touchdown pass from Andy Dalton. Green finished with 10 catches for 111 yards receiving and a touchdown. Later in the first, Rodgers threw a 1-yard touchdown pass to Lance Kendricks.

Giovani Bernard caught a 6-yard touchdown pass from Andy Dalton in the second-quarter. Bernard only caught 2 passes for 12 yards receiving and a touchdown. He only rushed for 27 yards on 3 carries. Rookie Joe Mixon lead the Bengals in rushing with 62 yards on 18 carries. Dalton completed 21-of-27 passes for 212 yards passing and 2 touchdowns. William Jackson returned an interception 75 yards in the second quarter for a touchdown for the Bengals.

In the third quarter, Rodgers threw a 1-yard touchdown pass to Jordy Nelson. In the fourth quarter, Rodgers threw a 3-yard touchdown pass to Jordy Nelson. Nelson finished with 6 catches for 52 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns.

Mason Crosby also made a 28-yard field goal for the Packers and Reggie Bullock made a 46-yard field goal for the Bengals. The Bengals will travel to Cleveland to face the Browns (0-3) next Sunday and the Packers will host the Chicago Bears (1-2) on Thursday Night.
